Company Criteria:
- Size: company must have at least 5 full-time employees and 3 completed fiscal years
- Industry: we can evaluate businesses operating in various industries. If we do not have the right industry expertise to perform an independent valuation in-house then we source expertise from outside of Valmetrics.
- Location: most of the valuations can be done remotely on the basis of information provided by email or phone interviews. However, if specific onsite audit and due diligence are required, the company must be located in Switzerland or in a neighbouring country (France, Italy, Germany).
- Languages: Valmetrics working languages are English and French. Therefore, financial data displayed in other languages must be translated into English or French prior to the valuation. Valmetrics can provide translation for an additional fee.
Information we need from you:
- Last 3 years (more if available) Profit & Loss Accounts + Balance Sheets on Excel
- Budget and business plan, investment policy, business strategy, company news
- The reason you want to perform an independent valuation
- Names of comparable listed companies and comparable transactions (if you know any)
- Sources of information in English about your business and industries
- Contact details of the person in charge of valuation (CFO, Controller, CEO, Project Manager, etc..) - English/French speaker
- Meeting and time preferences (phone interviews, onsite visit)
