Internal Valuation Reporting
The Internal Valuation Reporting service measures the valuation change of a company from the date it was acquired or financed by a fund. Entry and exit valuations are not included in this service. Valmetrics focuses on intermediary valuations in between these two phases (entry/exit). These valuations are done for internal reporting purposes only and communicated solely to fund managers and investors. They can be sent to external third-parties (auditors, banks) upon request - see extended reporting option below. The Internet Valuation Reporting frees up fund managers from regular reporting duties towards investors and let them focus on their core business find good deal flow, negotiating deals, etc.. Options
Portfolio Analysis
The Portfolio Analysis is additional to the Valuation Reporting service where all invested companies are valued by Valmetrics. This option enables fund managers and investors to have a global fund valuation (Net Asset Value) which includes both company valuations and management fees. Fund managers and investors can periodically monitor their NAV in a similar manner to traditional funds invested in listed companies. Valmetrics also measures the diversifying effect and its related benefits to minimize risk while keeping the same level of return.
Extended Reporting
Valuation reports are usually sent to fund managers and investors. However, these reports can also be of interest for external third-parties like corporate managers, auditors, banks, consultants, etc... Each of these players may request to have access to these reports at different periods of time. To manage these requests, Valmetrics can electronically store their valuation reports and give secure and collaborative access to the third-party with dedicated rights (view, edit, download and print). This option is great to distribute valuation reports in a professional and independent way.
Update
The fund valuation service is optimized when funds fully rely on Valmetrics to perform ongoing valuation reporting. Valmetrics reviews both good or bad news and updates valuation reports accordingly. Valmetrics offers a valuation service update to help you monitor valuation on a regular basis, comply with continuous reporting or simply manage the good buy-or-sell timing. There are 3 types of update: yearly, half-yearly or quarterly. For each update, Valmetrics checks new information received in between the previous valuation and the update. New information is processed and the valuation is updated.
